Rodrigo Terpins is a passionate rally driver who hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is the co-founder of the Bull Sertoes Rally which he established with his equally talented brother Michel Terpins. The successful rally driver inherited his passion for sports from his family. Rodrigo’s father, Jack Terpins was a great basketball defender in his youth in Hebraica and eventually a respected sports leader in the Jewish council.
Rodrigo Terpins Achievements
Rodrigo Terpins has earned a name for himself in the sport for winning some of the most coveted races. The most notable of all races for Rodrigo was the 22nd edition in the off-road Brazil Cross Country Championship. Rodrigo stated that the race was a demanding one because it had several different terrains and dirt. In spite of this, they managed to finish the race in two hours while his younger brother Michel Terpins took the 7th position.
Compared to previous years, the 22nd edition of the Bull Sertoes Rally was marked by a shorter distance. Moreover, the duo Rodrigo and his navigator Bianchini saw him finish 3rd and ranked at the 8th position out of 38 competitors. Rodrigo prefers the prototype T1 category which was where he started when he joined the rally racing.
Rodrigo’s brother Michel Terpins chairs the Brazil Cross Country Championship as well as being a member of the Bull Sertoes Rally. The two brothers have worked together in the last four seasons which prompted the MEM Motorsport Organization to develop a T-Rex for them. Rodrigo stated that he liked the performance of the car and complimented his navigator Bianchini, with whom they adapted fast to the car. Bianchini had made his debut on cars and navigation after 11 editions in motorcycle racing.
The prosperous rally driver was fortunate to grow watching his father triumphant in the sports industry. The motivation stemmed from his family and by also having his brother in the same field, makes Rodrigo quite content in his career.
